Congress Opens the Purse Wide, Funds Obamacare and More Terrorists
By: Carolyn Elkins

How many people remember November 2010 when a new Congress was elected
by a landslide for the purpose of repealing Obamacare?
Here we are four years later, and more people have found out what’s in
it, realizing the disaster of it. Speaker John Boehner and House
Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi got together with others in Congress and
passed a Continuing Resolution that will fund the federal government
through to the end of their fiscal year.
Forget the so called party of no that the democrats have been chanting
about the past 4 years and never mind that the Harry Reid led Senate
finally passed a contentious budget after refusing to do so for over
two years last December which cut benefits for Veterans. Don’t think
either, about the fact that Congress holds the purse strings and can
give or withhold funding, yet has continuously funded the Obamacare
monstrosity.
As CNS News reported September 17th that Boehner and Pelosi managed to
fund spending for Obamacare with no restrictions on provisions such as
preventative services which requires Americans to purchase health
insurance which covers contraceptives, sterilization and abortion
inducing drugs even if it violates their right of conscience and
freedom of religious beliefs.
This Continuing Resolution also includes funding for Planned
Parenthood. The nation’s largest abortion provider recorded 540.6
million dollars in funding from local, state and federal governments
between 2012 and 2013. Title X family “planning” grants can’t go
towards abortions, but think about all the other programs they promote
with your tax dollars.
According to House Appropriations Chairman, Kentucky Republican Hal
Rogers who helped craft the bill stated, “This bill is free of
controversial riders, maintains current levels and does not seek to
change existing federal policies.”
Goodness knows not many politicians would ever have a mind to lower
spending levels instead of maintaining them, and none of the Republican
members were voted for their promises to change existing policies such
as Obamacare. And hey, we don’t find it controversial at all to spend
money on government policies which over half of the nations’ citizens
don’t want but are ordered to purchase something which strips us of our
conscience and 1st Amendment right to freedom of religious beliefs.
I’m disgusted over this. I’ve been disgusted and angry at our
representatives since 2 years ago when the Obama Administration and
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton left 4 Americans to die while lying
about some stupid video no one had seen. Since the proposal of a Select
Committee was drafted by Frank Wolf over a year ago, but Boehner said
it would be a waste of time and money but now that we’re in an election
year, time and money are no object.
