Darke County Center for the Arts (DCCA) is pleased to have received
sponsorship donations for the upcoming A Taste of Wine & Jazz XXI
from Kent and Melinda Myers, Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, and Cox
Insurance. The talented Eddie Brookshire Quintet will provide
refreshingly original jazz entertainment for this sold-out event;
sponsorships help cover the cost of the musicians.
A Taste of Wine & Jazz is a fundraiser for DCCA; proceeds are used
to help underwrite the cost of presenting high quality performing
artists in Darke County. Honored to receive the support of these
three donors, DCCA’s Executive Director Julie Strait stated “Darke
County Center for the Arts is absolutely thrilled with the strong
commitment to the Arts that is shown by individuals like Kent and
Melinda, and local businesses like Cox Insurance and Zechar Bailey
Funeral Home.” “Sponsorship donations provide opportunities for
folks in our community to participate in quality social and cultural
events right here in our own backyard,” she concluded.
Montage Café owners Aaron and Michelle Cox will host the twenty-first
installment of this popular party on Friday, April 29, starting at 6:30
pm., and will provide a selection of delectable hors d’oeuvres as well
as four great wines. An original jazz band and fun door
prizes will round out the evening.
Tickets to this event are no longer available; the next ‘Taste’ is
scheduled for January 20, 2012. For information on becoming a
