Dear Santa,
I have been a good boy this year. A really good boy. Even my Mommy says
so, so it must be true.
If you don’t believe me, ask her. She’ll tell you.
I want a bicycle and a sled and a Game Boy and a LEGO Ninjago Spinjitzu
Dojo and a NERF Vortex Nitron and a basketball and a football and a
catchers mitt and ball and bat...
Mommy tells me she can’t find a catchers mitt for me because I’m left
handed. I don’t know what that means but I bet you do.
You can make one for me, can’t you?
And did I say I want a sled? I want the round kind that slides around
in circles. My friend Tommy has one. I like sliding in circles.
My Mommy says I should ask for things for other people. Not just for
me. Well, Santa, I have two little sisters. They came home at the same
time.
Daddy plays with them a lot and Mommy smiles. She says they are twins
and that they are special. I didn’t like them at first. Mommy and Daddy
kind of forgot about me. But now that they have stopped puking on me
when I hold them, I kind of like them, too.
They’re cute.
Can you bring them a bunch of pants and blankets and bottles (they
can’t eat yet) and rattles and stuff? I don’t know what little girls
like but I bet you do.
Don’t forget lots of pants. They don’t know how to go to the bathroom
like me yet.
Let’s see. I really would like a job for Daddy. Mommy and Daddy yell at
each other a lot, I guess because he’s home all the time. Last year he
went to his job every day and they smiled and kissed all the time.
Yech! But I like that better than yelling.
Sometimes Mommy cries. Can you bring her something to make her not want
to cry? And maybe a box of candy? She likes candy. I remember. But she
hasn’t had any in a long time.
We live with Grandma now. She’s a nice lady but can get cranky
sometimes. But I really love her. Can you bring her something to make
her not so cranky?
That’s all I can think of, Santa.
I gave this to my teacher because she said she knows how to send it to
you. All the kids in my class did. She’s a really neat lady. She cried
when she read some of the letters.
Why do ladies cry so much? She must be a Mommy.
If you are reading this, then she kept her promise.
I love you, Santa. Thank you for reading my letter. I hope you can do
my Christmas List.
Your friend,
Bobby
