Learning Center Spreads Holiday Spirit

The Workshop Learning Center has been busy this December spreading the holiday spirit. The Workshop’s Elves Community Orchestra began rehearsing in mid-November for their Christmas performances. Director, Michelle Drees, is excited about the formation of this group.

“I love watching students share their passion for music. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help these young stars shine.” The group performed twice on Saturday, December 10th, at the Third Street Market and at the Greenville Public Library’s Open House. The group also had performances Thursday, December 14th at The Coffee Pot at 6:30 and on Friday at the Sterling House at 3:30.

The Workshop Learning Center offers a wide range of supplemental educational services. “We are very excited about our expanding offerings starting the first of the year.” quotes the director, Michelle Drees.  New group classes included OGT & ACT prep courses and a study hour to help students complete homework. These classes will be in addition to the private academic tutoring The Workshop already offers.
