Scribes... Washington
Township School – do you
know anyone? By Lyn Bliss, Senior Scribe November 30, 2011
Greenville—The
Genealogy Library of
Garst Museum has a picture that is believed to be the Washington
Township
School and is thought to have been taken in approximately 1936. It is believed that the
person on the far
right of the second row is DeVon Richard Warvel.
Head
of the Genealogy Library Phyllis
Crick, would like to be able to identify the pupils shown in the
picture.
Crick
has asked anyone who might have
information regarding the identity of these students to please contact
her at
Garst Museum Genealogy Library by calling 548-5250 or at home,
548-2586. The
Museum is open regular hours until after Christmas – when it will
reopen in
February
