Are you looking for something to help break up your stress at work or
have you stayed inside all winter long with nothing to do?
Please join us on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 10 AM at Shawnee
Prairie Preserve, Nature Center for a Volunteer Workshop!
We will share with you what, when, and where we can use your
assistance, and inform you of what you have missed out on! The
opportunities are endless! From working at the reception desk,
assisting with school groups, adopting a park, assisting in maintaining
park grounds, to helping with our largest event, Prairie Days Festival,
there is something for everyone!
Darke County Parks volunteers can assist with as many programs and
events as they wish or as few as they can make work into their busy
schedules.
Come on out, bring a friend or two and see how you can make a
