Boehner staffer talks
to local Republicans
Ryan Day, House Representative John Boehner’s District Chief of Staff,
talked to the Darke County Republican Men’s Club recently. He shared
some of the challenges in Washington, most of which you have read about
in regular news and blog items on County News Online.
A full house of club members and guests heard about the events, noted
the challenges and asked multiple questions in an attempt to understand
the situation and its possible solutions.
The Darke County Republican Men’s Club meets the third Saturday of each
month in the Staff Cafeteria at Brethren Retirement Community. There
will, however, be no meeting in August due to the Darke County Fair. As
always, new members interested in promoting and supporting Republican
elected officials, candidates and ideals, are welcome to join.
Stop by the Republican Tent during the fair to get more information
about the Republican Party, the men’s club and also the Darke County
Republican Women’s Club. Both groups are open to membership by both men
and women.
