What a special way to
spend an evening!

I have been focusing on saving money and still being able to live a
rewarding life. After years of being a professional
organist and piano teacher I love good music played well.
And that is exactly what was on the venue Friday night at the
Marling Stage in Greenville city park. I and my husband, along with
several hundred others, listened to a concert of jazz arrangements and
performers that make our country proud.
The Army Jazz Ambassadors presented a well balanced array of music
perfectly. And three Greenville students joined
the band for a rousing rendition of “In The Mood”. We
will once again have the opportunity to enjoy the best for less
(free) when the Air Force Band of Flight comes to
Greenville July 9 at 7:00 for their free concert on the
Marling Stage.
I urge all who love good music to attend and show that we here in
Greenville do appreciate those in our military who entertain us as well
as serve our nation proudly.
