BRC residents get
health info and testing

Brethren Retirement Community’s Brick Room was full of health care
providers and related organizations Thursday as the retirement
community presented a Wellness Fair for residents and visitors.
According to Rhonda Bowman, one of the planning committee members,
there were 23 vendors and agencies performing a variety of
diagnostic tests, such as blood pressure checks, and providing health
information for the residents. Among them were Spirit Ambulance,
Johnson Chiropractic, Anthem, Reid Hospital and Wayne Health Care.
The BRC Wellness Fair planning committee was headed by Holly Hill.
Members included Bowman, Julia Cook and Melody Overfield.
