Kids Learn About
Transportation
The preschool children at Kids Learning Place in Greenville finished a
month long study about transportation with a project of building their
favorite kind of vehicles. The kids and their teacher Judy
Gilmore; read books, researched on the internet, and watched
videos about cars, trucks, motorcycles, spaceships, wagons and roller
skates. Then they began their building project with
cardboard. On the last day they showed their finished vehicle and
talked about it to the rest of the class.
Kids Learning Place in Greenville has teachers with degrees in every
classroom and accepts children with special needs. Judy Gilmore
also said, “We are also the only child care in Darke County that has
earned the “Step Up to Quality” star award for exceeding licensing
regulations, we are proud of our staff’s focused efforts and dedication
to our children.”
