Preschoolers go back
in time
Darke County Parks...
Preschoolers at Darke County Parks Parent and Preschooler Adventure
program went back in time this month. They started class by
taking a long hike back to the 18th Century Log House. Each
preschooler had the opportunity to make their own butter and try out a
butter churn. When the butter was finally finished, they got to
enjoy their hard work. To make them look like pioneer kids, each
preschooler made a hat or bonnet to wear home. Class was
completed by playing some pioneer games. The kids enjoyed the
sunshine while tossing a bean bag and jumping rope outside. For
