Visitors Bureau rolls
out New Look
GREENVILLE – The Darke County Visitors Bureau previewed its new logo
today, supporting its mission to enhance the economic growth of Darke
County through the promotion and development of tourism.
The new logo captures the legendary spirit of Darke County in the
script and icons, as well as the future of nature-based tourism in the
community with the colors selection
“We surveyed many people to gain their ideas and opinions on what our
logo should look like,” stated Deanna York, executive director of the
Darke County Visitors Bureau. “We think we hit the mark!”
The bureau now turns its attention to a new website for the tourism
community of Darke County. There is much work to do in updating
information, collecting images and video that depicts the quality of
life found in Darke County as well as the heritage, recreational and
natural aspects.
The bureau encourages visitors and residents alike to share their
images of Darke County for the new publication. “We are always looking
for new points of view,” stated York.
Both the logo and website are being created by Encounter Marketing, a
full service marketing agency with a focus on creating services that
will serve rural, small town communities in Ohio. They can be
