GHS Student Council completes
Rake-n-Run
The
Greenville High School Student
Council, along with co-members of the Key Club, completed a “Rake and
Run”
service project the afternoon of Sunday, Nov. 6, from 2-4:00 p.m. Also, members and
co-members of both student
organizations did the same service project on Saturday, Nov. 5th from
10:00
a.m. to 2:00 p.m. These
students go from
house to house to rake their leaves, and then take off, thus, it’s
called, “Rake
and Run”!
In
a spirit of cooperation, high school
student organizations have often worked together over the years to
complete
their Community Service projects. The two separate Rake and Run days
this year
were due to student conflicts with other activities.
