Fort GreeneVille
Chapter DAR serves in Remembrance Event
On Sept. 11, 2011, hundreds of individuals and organizations gave their
time and efforts to prepare for and participate in the day honoring the
lives lost a decade earlier on Sept. 11, 2001. Among them were
volunteers from the Fort GreeneVille Chapter of the Daughters of the
American Revolution.
The local DAR chapter presented a wreath at the 10th Anniversary of 911
Ceremony held at the Darke County Courthouse. The DAR chapter also
served refreshments at the Greenville City Fire Department Open House
following the 911 parade.
