GREENVILLE – Model A Fords, Model T Fords, Overlands and more lined
South Broadway from the Circle down to Fourth Street on Tuesday morning.
Two clubs - the Ford Model A Club and Snapper’s Brass & Gas Club -
put Greenville on their tour stop in order to visit Garst Museum,
KitchenAid and other quality shops and restaurants.
The Ford Model A Club is based in Fort Wayne, Ind., but includes
families from Michigan and Ohio as well. Snapper’s is a brass car
touring division of the Antique Car Club of America, started in 1993 at
Snappers Saloon in Ripey, Ohio.
“We are thrilled to have these two antique car clubs tour Greenville,”
stated Deanna York, Executive Director of the Darke County Visitors
Bureau. “Locals have known for years that downtown Greenville is the
place to be. Now visitors are discovering it as well.”
