2011 Darke County Fair...

The first picture is of Jenna King and her pig “Big Daddy” who is a
Bluebutt swine.
In the Domestic Art building, I took many random photos, such as ones
of knitted quilts and blankets. In one picture, Marilyn Leisure is
knitting a shawl while sitting in the Domestic Arts building (also
called Grange Building.
My next stop took me to the Veterans Building where I chatted with WWII
Veteran Joseph Henry. I was then told about the plaque and how it was
100 plus years old. It amazes me meeting WWII Vets because they are
walking history books.
While inside, I talked with Micia Reed who is a Navy JRTOC and a
pending officer 3rd class. What amazes me is how the there were
veterans of all ages and even the next generation of soldiers were
present. As a country, we must remember our troops and those who fight
for us for without them, we have no America.
Having seen the Darke County Veterans Building, I checked out the Ohio
Center: Spiritual Life Center where I took even more pictures and met
new friends. While inside, I spoke to a woman who represents the Darke
County Pregnancy Help Center and bought four brackets after I took her
picture.
Soon after my visit there, I went to the Fine Arts Building where I
took random photos. At 1:00 p.m., I had the privilege of seeing a
painter paint her canvas.
I did some meandering where I took several pictures, inluding one of a
little boy riding a vehicle carousel as he smiled at me.
