Pets of the Week
Darke County Animal Shelter...
We have 11 mixed breed puppies at the Darke County Animal Shelter. We
have both boys and girls. They will be 8 weeks old on September 7th and
will be ready for adoption at 10am. These puppies will grow to around
40 pounds. They are sweet little guys and girls, are current on their
shots and will make great companions.
Shelby is a 3-year-old Akita mix. She is brown and white with short
hair. She is a friendly girl and is housebroken. She will make a good
companion and is ready for adoption.
Marla is an 8-month-old lab mix. She is black with short hair. She is a
little sweetheart, very friendly and loves to be around people. She
loves to play and is ready for adoption. She will make a great
companion.
We also have a Jack Russell mix, some black lab puppies, a pug mix and
numerous other dogs. We also have cats and kittens for adoption.
The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon
on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in
Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645.
The 2012 “Pets Calendars” are being printed. They should be ready real
soon. We will post them on our web site when they are ready. For more
