Lois Wilson publishes “Slices of Wry”

Lois Wilson
is a lovely lady whose talents are many and her dedication to community
service
has been a blessing to all who have the privilege of knowing her. Her
expertise
ranges anywhere from writing to education to public relations. She has
written
for The Early Bird, The Advocate, Dayton Daily News and County News
Online. Her
verses have been published in a new release, “Slices of Wry”.
Lois is
well known for her use of poetry to express her love for rhyme and
verse. Her
poems are of a large variety, some humorous and some serious, so the
appeal is
to all readers. “Slices of Wry” is the first booklet of what she
promises to be
a four or five volume set. It contains approximately 50 of her poems.
Wilson is
offering this booklet to anyone who is willing to help in the Scribes’
endeavor.
She is a
welcome member of Darke County Senior
Scribes which is a not for profit organization dedicated to gathering
funds for
college scholarships to as many Darke County students as possible each
year. To
date, over $12,000 has been awarded to Darke County students pursuing
careers
in public communications.
One booklet
will be given for each sponsorship of $10.00 or more. Sponsorships are
tax
deductible to the extent allowed according to IRS regulations regarding
not-for-profit contributions.
