Active This Winter February 14, 2012
The Darke County Photography Club has
continued to be active this winter with its events.
The club would like to thank Troy Baker
for
teaching the workshops on digital cameras and Photoshop on Saturday,
February
11. The workshops
were a great success
with many participants learning how to improve their photography skills. The club also thanks John
Cook for being the
guest judge at the January meeting.
Congratulations to Ruth McDaniel for
having the Judge’s favorite in the
theme “Toys” and Sue Ann Hartzell in the “Open” category. The next meeting will be
on Tuesday, February
21 at 7:00PM at the Shawnee Prairie Nature Center.
This meeting will be busy with Julie
Kessen
from Granny’s Corner talking about matting and framing, nomination of
officers
(election will be in March), and the monthly feedback session with the
theme
“Purple”. Please
bring a printed or
digital copy of your photograph that best represents the month’s theme
to share
at the meeting. If
you enjoy taking
photographs and making new friends, feel free to join us. For more information, click here to
