God Don’t Make
Junk... from Ramblings of an Old Man
By CNO Editor Bob Robinson
A few copies of “God Don’t Make Junk, from Ramblings of an Old Man” are
still available in locations around Greenville, Darke County.
It is a chronology of events in Robinson’s life that brought him to
Darke County and shaped the person he has become.
Robinson recently spoke at a high school “Before the Prom” event.
“The stories shared, including many of those in the book, had an impact
on the students as they considered the possibility they might be faced
with choices to drink, drink and drive, or even to climb into a vehicle
with someone who has been drinking,” Robinson said.
One student who was at the annual event said “You had some of the kids
in tears. I think you scared the hell out of some of them.”
“God Don’t Make Junk” is a powerful narrative about choices... the
right ones and the wrong ones.
