New Senior-Focused Insurance Agency Opens in New Madison

One Stop Senior Insurance, an independent insurance agency specializing in Medicare-related products, has opened its doors in New Madison, Ohio.  The agency, owned by local resident Amy Farmer, will offer consultation and plan comparisons to new and existing Medicare recipients, as well as to individuals of all ages wanting to explore their health and life insurance options.  

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there were 8,900 individuals age 65 and older in Darke County in 2010, with those numbers projected to grow each year as the Baby Boomer generation ages, Farmer said. 

“Both new and existing Medicare recipients benefit from a personalized comparison of their options each year,” Farmer added. “As health status, costs and prescriptions change, consumers can sometimes enjoy significant savings by switching to another plan.”
