Anthem Singers Sought
Pride of
Country and Strong Vocal Talent Requested

ROSSBURG,
OH (March 13) - - Eldora Speedway is seeking enthusiastic and talented
individuals to sing “The Star Spangled Banner” during pre-race
ceremonies at
selected race meets this season.
Applicants
that have a strong sense of pride for their country and love to use
their voice
to show it off are invited to submit an mp3 or You Tube link to Eldora
Director
of Operations Larry Boos via email at LarryB@EldoraSpeedway.com, or
send a
CD/DVD to the Eldora Speedway office, 13929 State Route 118, New
Weston, OH
45348. All
applicants should provide
available dates and submit a brief resume that includes previous
singing
appearances.
National
anthem singers receive two complimentary admission tickets for the
event at
which they perform and are evaluated for future performances at
Eldora’s Major
Events.
All
submitted material will become the property of Eldora Speedway and will
not be
returned to the sender.
Due to the
volume of interest, only those persons chosen to sing will be contacted
by the
Eldora staff.
The historic southwestern Ohio speed plant
is entering its 59th consecutive year of operation with another
ambitious slate
of events that includes a diverse schedule of competition. Integrated into the
calendar are Traditional
Major Events such as the Feed The Children Prelude to the Dream (June
6),
$100,000 to-win Dirt Late Model Dream presented by Ferris Commercial
Mowers
(June 8 & 9), $50,000 to-win Kings Royal (July 14) and 42nd
annual World
100 (Sept. 7 & 8).
