of
the month honored
March 11, 2012
Greenville
Kiwanis honored students of the month for January and February
recently.

Parker,
January, is the son of Deborah and Mitchell Cameron, is involved in the
Science
Club and organized his group’s engineering project that was presented
to
Greenville City Council. Parker plans to major in Robotics at either
Perdue or
Ohio State University.
Amanda,
January, the daughter of Tanya and Joseph Helfrich, serves as president
of GHS
Business Professionals of America. She has qualified for BPA State
Competition
and placed First in Computerized Accounting. She also is involved in
her church
youth group. Amanda plans to major in Business and Outdoor Ministries
at
Eastern Marionette University.
Pankti,
February, the daughter of Himanshu and Bela Bhavsar, is always willing
to do
what it takes to get a job done at school or in the community. She
serves as
co-secretary of the GHS Key Club and as an aide at the high school.
Pankti
plans to major in Biology but is undecided on the college she will
attend.
Megan,
February, the daughter of Kandy and Patrick Foley, is a member of the
Science
Club, the Parent Teacher Student Association and the Swim Team at GHS
and was
named “Swimmer of the Year” in the GWOC North Division this season.
Megan plans
to major in Math at either Bowling Green or Wilmington.
Awards were
presented to the students by Greenville High School Principal Ken Neff.
Greenville Kiwanis, a community service organization, congratulates
these
students and wishes them success in their future endeavors.
