Darke County
holds Recycling Day
GREENVILLE, Ohio — Hundreds of people showed up at the Darke County
Fairgrounds on Thursday morning with electronics of all kinds to have
them recycled.
The event is part of the Darke County Electronics Recycling Day that is
held each year at the fairgrounds.
This is a free service, but people who are interested in recycling
needed to pre-register prior to the event.
Organizer Krista Fourman said the goal is to gather about 70,000 pounds
this year.
The electronics will then be sent to a Columbus-area firm for proper
recycling.
