Booher
Committee awards over $15K to Versailles area non-profits
Grants were recently awarded from the Ruth and Emerson Booher Committee
Advised Fund for Versailles, Ohio of The Dayton Foundation. To qualify
these groups needed to be 501C3 tax-exempt nonprofit organizations
whose programs benefit citizens within the Versailles, Ohio area.
A total amount of $15,500 was awarded.
Recipients were: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shelby and Darke Co, Inc,
Kinder Korner Preschool, Versailles Area Historical Society, Inc, Towne
and Country Players, Inc, Young Life, Versailles Heritage Park Fund and
State of the Heart Hospice.
Applications for a second round of funds for 2012 will be available
soon. Please watch for details in the local newspapers.
