GREENVILLE
– Two young ladies were holding and petting their
rabbits in the rabbit barn on Aug. 17.
“It
got a first, but doesn’t have a name,” said Natasha Draper.
“It?”
“She.
I have 20 rabbits. I’d forget their names,” Natasha said.
Natasha’s
cousin, Leah Hiestand, was petting her rabbit.
“It
doesn’t have a name,” she said. It had placed second in the
competition.
“It?”
“She.
I have three rabbits that look just like her,” Leah
explained.
Natasha,
however, relented. She decided to name her rabbit Leah.
“After my cousin, Leah,” she said.
Leah
didn’t seem to mind.
