Pets of the week 

We have Poki at the Darke County Animal Shelter. He is a 3-year-old Dachshund. He is brown with a little white and has short hair. He is a sweet little guy who loves people. He is playful and waiting to be adopted. He will make a good companion and is ready for adoption.

We have Dane at the Darke County Animal Shelter. He is a 3-year-old Husky. He is black and white with thick hair. He is a friendly guy who likes to play. He was found in the Bradford area. He will make a great friend and is looking for a good home. 

We also have a Husky mix, a couple of Dachshunds, a couple of terrier mixes and numerous other dogs. We also have cats and kittens for adoption. 

The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645. 

With the fair right around the corner, be sure your dog is wearing its license. It makes it much easier to find his or her home back when they become lost.
