Prakel wins VFW State Athlete of the Year
 
Samuel Prakel, a recent graduate of Versailles High School, won the 2013 VFW Male Athlete of the Year Award.  He earned the award due to his athletic and scholastic excellence.  Sam joined a prestigious group of prior winners including Jerry Lucas, Paul Warfield, Chris Spielman, and Robert Smith to name a few.  This VFW program was started in 1956.  Sam is the first winner from District 3 in many years.  The state of Ohio consists of twelve districts.
