Bradford
Ohio Railroad
Museum needs you
The
Bradford Ohio Railroad
Museum needs your help. The museum’s outside sign was damaged and will
need to
be replaced. The sign was located at the front of the museum parking
lot
between the museum and Oakwood facing Miami Avenue.
The
sign directed visitors
to the museum’s exhibit hall at 200 N. Miami Avenue and to the BF Tower
at 501
East Main. The sign was placed in 2007 to direct patrons to the museum
and
advertise the museum’s presence in Bradford. The sign cost the museum
$1,700
when constructed and installed by Champion Signs.
The
museum is appealing to
the community to donate the needed funds to repair this damage as no
one has
come forward to take responsibility for the damage. The museum is a
nonprofit
corporation dedicated to preserving the railroad heritage and relies on
volunteers and
Donations
to keep its doors
and programs going. The museum does not charge for the use of its
parking lot
and is hoping the responsible party will help assist with the
replacement of
this important part of the museum.
Donations
to replace the
sign can be mailed to the museum at P.O. Box 101 Bradford, Ohio 45308.
