School Students Identified

The picture of the above school and students was previously printed,
asking for identification of the students. Head of the Genealogy
Library, Phyllis Crick has located the “Souvenir At Close of School”
memento program given out for that school the year the picture was
taken. The memento program provides the following information: Weaver
Station School, Special District No. 1, Neave Twp., Darke Co., Ohio,
1920-1921 - Teacher H. Jesse Baker and Superintendent D. T. Hill.
Members of the District School Board are listed as: President S. B.
McCabe, Clerk A. B. Carothers, Charles Lehman
Denver Curtner and Riley Armstrong. Fourth grade pupils: Marietta
Vorhees, Hazel Cain, Hazel McGriff, Omer Hicks, Ora Ray, Lowell Bowers,
Dorothy Davidson, Helen Curtner, Mabel Bowers, Alice McKahn, Warren
McCabe, Howard Fisher, Vincent Saylor, and Garold Mikesell.
Fifth grade pupils: Bertha Cain, Marian Curtner, Noah Brown, Wilbur
Fisher, Bernice Haines, Caroline Krick, Art Cain, Irvin Vorhees and
Leonard Krick.
Sixth grade pupils: Ehtel Delk, Orville Bowman, Estella Lehman, Esta
Howard and Harvey McKee.
Seventh grade pupils: Kenneth Baker, Russell Hollinger, Pauline Wilson,

Eighth grade pupils: Effie Ray and Marjorie Brumbaugh.
