Gateway
Youth Programs
125
Days of Giving
During
last month Mercer Savings Bank donated
$125 to Gateway Youth Programs of Darke County. This donation is in
celebration
of Mercer Savings Bank’s 125th Anniversary with the bank is giving back
to the
community. Mercer Savings Bank will donate $125 to 125
different
charities and organizations for 125 days. Mercer Savings
Bank’s goal is
to give back to the communities that have contributed to Mercer Savings
Bank’s
125 years of excellence. Pictured above are Mercer Savings
Bank’s
Assistant Vice President and Greenville Branch Manager, Tim Burns, and
Kelly
Harrison the program support specialist of the Gateway Youth
program.
The
Gateway Youth are planning to use the
donation to support opportunities for all the youth enrolled in the
Summer of
Connections program. “It means we can purchase more supplies
for
activities and use a portion of the donation towards a field trip
experience
for the kids”, said Kelly, “This donation is just one more example for
the
youth to learn about “the giving back initiative” in their
community.”
