All About You
fundraiser raises $1,800 for CADC
On November 2, 2013, All About You Therapeutic Massage held its second
annual event ‘Ladies Night Out’ at Romers Catering in Greenville.
The event attracted around 200 women to support this great cause where
all proceeds were donated to the Cancer Association of Darke County.
Nearly $1,800 was donated due to the event.
Whitney Christman, licensed massage therapist and owner of “All About
You Therapeutic Massage”, stated that “This has been a rough year for a
lot of people for many different reasons, but its people like you who
have donated their time, money, and support for the CADC that helps
restore my faith in our community. The Cancer Association is a great
organization that helps others in some of their greatest times of need.
That is why “All About You Therapeutic Massage” holds this event; it’s
to give back to them.” She continued to show the gratitude directly to
her staff that supported her in the makings of this event. April
Mitchell and Julie Kossler (both licensed massage therapist) were
appreciated for the added “brains” behind the night’s work.
Shopping with over 25 local vendors, a catered meal, entertainment from
comedian Leslie Norris Townsend (as seen on Jay Leno, A&E, etc.),
around 70 door prizes, 5 grand prizes (all donated from Kossler
Electric, Francis Furniture, Sink Jewelers, and All About You
Therapeutic Massage) were only a small part of the night’s festivities.
The night was filled with excitement. Women ran into old friends and
made new ones. They discussed matters close to heart and shopped until
they were content.
April Mitchell added, “All About You is so thankful to everyone who
participated in this event making it possible for everyone to enjoy. We
are so excited to be a part of something that we can give back to our
community. It is a great feeling of satisfaction to be able to reach
out and help others in need or less fortunate. We look forward to
future events with our community.”
