Students Attend Construction Career Day
Hamilton, Ohio –
Miami Valley Career Technology
Center (MVCTC) building trades students attended the Construction
Career Day on September 18, 2013, at Butler County Fairgrounds.
According to
their website, “The purpose of the
event is to introduce high school students to the numerous and
diverse career opportunities with unlimited potential for advancement
offered by the construction industry.”
MVCTC
instructors Greg Bauer, Robert Ewry, Ron
Kauffman, Kelly Kramer, John Leiter, and Michael Routzohn took MVCTC
students from Construction Carpentry, Electrical Trades, Heating,
Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Heavy Equipment Operator, and
Masonry to this year’s event.
Mr. Kramer,
MVCTC Construction Carpentry instructor,
said, “This is a great opportunity for our student to see first
hand some of the new tools and products in the business. Also, they
get the opportunity to meet employers in the industry for all over
Southwest Ohio.”

40-years, MVCTC has been providing career
technical education for 27 partner school districts encompassing five
counties, including Darke, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Warren
Counties. MVCTC is dedicated to providing in-demand workforce
