Allread follows tradition of Firefighter grandfather

The City of Greenville Fire Department is please to announce that Greenville Native Craig Allread has been appointed as a Firefighter effective August 26, 2013.  He replaced a firefighter that left the department to pursue a career change.  Firefighter Craig Allread is the grandson of the late Firefighter Bob Allread that retired in 1986.  Firefighter Craig Allread was sworn in by Mayor Michael Bowers with his mother in attendance holding the Bible.
