Aunt Katie’s Eatery &
Museum
Aunt Katie’s is the best
place to spend an afternoon with friends and family to get the full
All American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL) experience.
AAGPBL was an American sports organization beginning in 1943 that
grew from a stop-gag wartime entertainment to a professional baseball
showcase for women baseball players. The museum is packed full of
AAGPBL memorabilia, including pictures of past champion teams,
official baseball equipment and uniforms, rosters of all the female
players, videos of old ball games and interviews of former players,
and much more. Don’t forget to grab a bite to eat while you are
here because this museum also doubles as a family-friendly
restaurant! So stop on by and learn about an important part of
America’s Favorite Past Time’s history. And who knows, you might
even run into a former player while you’re here, including our very
own Katie Horstman, a local AAGPBL player. 851 Martin Street
