Sponsors DCCA Artists Series Opening Performance
Darke
County Center for the Arts recognizes Greenville Technology,
Incorporated for their sponsorship of the 2013-2014 Artists Series.
Greenville Technology, Incorporated will be the spotlight sponsor for
the Saturday, September 14th presentation of “The Passing Zone”.
“We
thank Greenville Technology, Incorporated for their continued
sponsorship of our Artists Series,” stated Andrea Jordan, DCCA
Executive Director. “We rely on the support of community minded
local companies to continue bringing high quality entertainment to
Darke County; their commitment to enhancing our community is much
appreciated,” concluded Jordan.
The
initial presentation of the Artists Series season provides something
different from the organization's usual slate of musical performers.
Guiness World Record holders “The Passing Zone” will perform a
zany blend of comedy and gravity-defying juggling at Henry St. Clair
Memorial Hall in Greenville. The duo of John Wee and Owen Morse have
appeared on The Tonight Show, The Today Show, and were the top comedy
act on America's Got Talent. The show starts at 8 p.m.
Additionally,
the Ohio Arts Council helped fund this program with state tax dollars
to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural
enrichment for all Ohioans. DCCA also receives operating support from
the Harry D. and Esther Stephens Memorial as well as funding from the
Ketrow Foundation, Lydia E. Schaurer Memorial Trust Fund and DCCA
Memberships.
Tickets
for “The Passing Zone” are $20. Tickets can be purchased by
contacting DCCA at 937-547-0908 or at online at www.centerforarts.net
and at the door the night of the show.
