VFW 7262 donates POW flag to Greenville

VFW Post 7262 Members, Ladies Auxiliary, Men’s Auxiliary and Boosters all cooperate to donate flags and Bibles. The four groups supply in excess of $12,000 per year to provide the items in honor of veterans.

The groups recently presented a new Prisoner of War flag to the City of Greenville. The flag was presented by Post Commander Jack Harless (R) and Post Quartermaster Tom Mowery (L). Mayor Mike Bowers (C) accepted the flag on behalf of the city. The flag will be flown on the flagpole in the middle of the traffic circle in downtown Greenville.
