Great Darke County Fair
Favorite Fair Photos

The 2014 Great Darke County Fair has come and gone… going into the
fourth month of come and gone. As seems to be the case these days, the
timing for me to get my favorite photos posted is about right.
The majority of these photos were taken while on assignment for the
Early Bird (www.bluebagmedia.com), while many others were taken during
fair wanderings on my own time. As usual the majority of my targets
were kids and the cheerleading competition… cheerleading because of the
months of work that produced calisthenics, not to mention teamwork,
that could easily compete with the sport of gymnastics (my opinion,
folks, no offense meant). Kids because… well… they’re kids and they
make great subjects.
It took me three months to find and set up my favorite fair pics; next
challenge is my favorite pics of 2014. If I’m lucky and I work hard at
it, I just might get them done sometime next year.
