Cancer
Association receives donation from Flory Landscaping
Flory Landscaping and Lawn Care, Inc. are celebrating their 25th year
of business and on Memorial Day weekend, they decided they wanted to
give back to Darke County. For the day, on May 24th, Florys asked
the public to bring their quarters to purchase a hotdog and a fountain
drink. 100% of the money collected was given to the local cancer
association. Flory’s stated they would like to thank you to all
those who came out and supported such a wonderful cause.”
The association appreciates this generous act of Flory’s
Landscaping. All donations of any size are always
appreciated. The organization is overseen by a volunteer board
that determines how donations are to be used, etc. The
association is a 501c3 nonprofit recognized by the government.
The only requirement to receive benefits is to reside in Darke County
and have a confirmed diagnosis of cancer. The benefit period
begins the day the office is contacted.
The association partners with United Way and is not affiliated with the
American Cancer Society or Relay for Life.
There is always a need for volunteers, especially volunteer drivers.
If you would like to volunteer or donate money, please contact
Christine at the office 937-548-9960. Please send donations
to Cancer Association of Darke County, PO Box 781, Greenville, OH
45331. If you have questions, feel free to call the office which
is open on M-W-F from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Please leave a detailed
message if no answer and someone will return your call.
Thank you for your much needed support.
