Off Broadway sponsors DCCA’s

County Center for the Arts
recognizes Ted and Diana Abney, owners of The Bistro Off Broadway,
for sponsoring a DCCA Artists Series performance Grammy-Award-winning
singer/songwriter Melissa Manchester in concert at Henry St. Clair
Memorial Hall in Greenville on Saturday, April 5. According DCCA’s
Artistic Director Keith Rawlins, “The Abney’s are a great
example of strong community supporters; they not only strengthen
downtown Greenville by providing a full service restaurant but also
enhance the quality of life in our community by supporting the
performing arts and making it possible for DCCA to present high
quality artists at a reasonable ticket price.”
Known
as a master of smooth, romantic
ballads such as “Don't Cry Out Loud” and “Midnight Blue,”
Melissa Manchester won a Grammy for Best Female Vocal Performance in
1982 with her biggest hit, “You Should Hear How She Talks About
You.” The artist has combined her singing and acting talents in
starring roles in Andrew Lloyd Weber's Song and Dance and Music of
the Night, and has appeared on television and in films. Melissa
Manchester has captivated audiences on stage and screen for more than
three decades.
Tickets
to the concert are $30, all
seats are reserved for the 8 p.m. performance. Tickets can be

or purchased at DCCA's office located within Greenville Public
Library, as well as online at www.CenterForArts.net.
Remaining tickets will also be available at the door prior to the
performance.
DCCA
performances are presented with
additional support from the Ohio Arts Council, which helps fund, the
programs with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth,
educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans. DCCA
also receives operating support from the Harry D. and Esther Stephens
Memorial as well as funding from the Ketrow Foundation and Lydia E.
Schaurer Memorial Trust Fund.
