Kiwanis feeds a steady stream of customers

GREENVILLE – Kiwanis of Greenville fed pancakes, sausage and apple sauce to a steady stream of hungry customers March 15 at its annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser. The event was held at First United Methodist Church of Greenville.

Jim Schaar, Kiwanis treasurer, said traffic was steady throughout the morning as 359 people showed up for all-you-can-eat pancakes with sausage, apple sauce and choice of drink. Customers kept Kiwanis and GHS Key Club volunteers busy from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pictured below are the new Kiwanis Key Club Advisor Mike Snyder and Key Club President Sarah Herzog.

The Pancake Breakfast is one of two major fundraisers for the organization. The other is working fair gate five at the Great Darke County Fair. Kiwanis is a fraternal organization dedicated to the youth of the community...
