Pets of the week
We have Patches and
Raph at the Darke County Animal Shelter. They are both female Jack
Russell/Rat Terrier mix puppies. They are 8 months old and are
sisters. They are sweet little girls and will make wonderful
companions. They are small dogs and love to play. They are ready for
adoption.
We have Daisy May at
the Darke County Animal Shelter. She is an 8-month-old Hound mix. She
is tri-color with short hair. She is house broken and good with kids.
She weighs around 50 pounds. She will make a great walking buddy and
friend. She is looking for a good home to have fun and play. She is
ready for adoption.
We also have a black
lab, a hound mix, and a red heeler mix, a Walker, a couple Rat
Terrier mix puppies and numerous other dogs. We also have cats and
kittens for adoption.
The Shelter hours are
8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon on Saturday. The
Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in Greenville, and the
phone number is 547-1645.
With Easter just
around the corner, the Friends of the Shelter will be hosting their
10 annual "Picture with Easter Bunny". It will be held at
Wal-Mart in Greenville on March 22, 2014 from 10am to 2pm. This is a
wonderful fundraiser for the Friends. Details will be coming soon.
ALL DOGS OVER 3 MONTHS
OF AGE MUST HAVE A LICENSE. For more information you can contact the

100% of the money will go to the dog park. You can participate with
or without your dog. If you have a dog, you're encouraged to run/walk
with your dog. Special awards will be given to those with dogs. All
regular age group awards will be given also.
