Biddlestones present annual SSSF donation

GREENVILLE – Darrell and Debbie Biddlestone awarded their fourth annual check to Senior Scribes Scholarship Fund (SSSF) President Elaine Bailey at Shawnee Prairie. The scholarship is in honor of Fred and Donna Wright.

SSSF awards scholarships to Darke County seniors with funding raised by sponsors such as the Biddlestones, Ted and Diana Abney of Bistro Off Broadway, Al and Barb Greiner, The Greenville Eagles, Dave Knapp Ford and County News Online donors. Funding was also provided this year by The Early Bird and Blue Bag Media through two Paul Ackley cartoon auctions at The Bistro Off Broadway.

Students in a communications related field still have an opportunity to apply for a scholarship until the last Friday in March by contacting countynewsonline@gmail.com. The SSSF Awards Banquet is scheduled for April 24.
