MVCTC Veterinary Science Team Places 1st in
State FFA Contest
Columbus, Ohio – Students from the Miami Valley Career Technology
Center (MVCTC) Veterinary Science program competed in the State Animal
Behavior, Welfare, and Husbandry FFA contest on April 15, in Columbus
and won first place.

The Animal Behavior, Welfare, and Husbandry FFA contest included a
PowerPoint presentation, animal welfare audit presentation, written
exam, animal behavioral profiles, team activity audit, and team species
project presentation.
Dr. Christa Nealeigh is the instructor for the MVCTC Veterinary Science
program and this is only her second year of entering a team in this
contest.
For over 40-years, MVCTC has been providing career technical education
for 27 partner school districts encompassing five counties in Southwest
Ohio. MVCTC is dedicated to providing in-demand workforce
training for youth, adults, and organizations in the Miami
Valley.
