Hulsmeyer receives
Outstanding Achievement Award
DAYTON, Ohio, October 13, 2014 — Sue Hulsmeyer, director of
organizational development and learning for Midmark Corporation,
recently received the Outstanding Achievement Award from Professional
Women in Healthcare (PWH) for her contributions over the past year. The
award was presented in Chicago at the PWH 10th Annual Meeting and
during the Health Industry Distributor Association (HIDA) Streamlining
Healthcare Meeting. The award is given by the PWH chair annually to one
committee volunteer who has done extraordinary work for the
organization.
As the vice chair of organizational leadership development on the
Strategic Oversight Committee for PWH, Hulsmeyer was recognized for a
succession planning tool that helped the organization improve its
placement process of board and committee members tenfold. She provided
thorough education to the organization on building bench strength and
being more objective in its selection process, a skill members are also
able to employ within their own businesses.
"Sue has helped us take our succession planning to the next level and
taught us how to systematically build our board and committee teams
while promoting leaders within PWH to their better potential,” stated
Pam Wedow, PWH Chair 2013-14. “We are so privileged to have her working
with us to build a stronger organization.”
Chief Administrative Officer for Midmark, Sharyl Gardner said, “Sue’s
commitment to her own personal and professional growth has made her a
respected leader in our company. She brought her passion for developing
leaders, especially women, to PWH starting in 2013. She is a dedicated
professional, who works tirelessly to support the growth and
development of others. I congratulate her on this well-deserved
award.”
