Pets of the week
GREENVILLE - The Darke County Animal Shelter has many pets available
for adoption, including several breeds of dogs, as well as cats and
kittens. The Shelter chooses pets to feature each week, this week
they've selected:
Baby B is a 2 year old beagle. He is tri-color with short hair. He is a
quit little guy who loves people. He only weighs around 15 pounds. He
will make a great friend and good housedog. He is ready for adoption.
Sandy is a 2 year old blond Lab. She is blond with short hair. She is a
friendly girl and knows some commands. Her hair is thin because of
fleas but will grow back. She loves to play and have fun. She will make
a wonderful companion and friend. She is ready for adoption.
Daisey is a 5 year old terrier. She is mostly white with brown and
black. She has short hair. She is a little timid but very friendly once
you get to know her. She is full of energy and loves to play. She will
make a great companion and friend. She is ready for adoption.
They also have black, blond and chocolate Labradors, a terrier, a
Chihuahua, a beagle, a collie mix, a boxer and a shepherd mix and
numerous other dogs as well as cats and kittens for adoption.
The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon
on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in
Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645.
