American Legion donates to Special Olympics

Darke County Special Olympics is beginning the 38th year of providing athletic opportunities for students and adults with varying types of disabilities from the Darke County and Greenville City Schools and Wayne Industries.  Volunteer director of Darke County Special Olympics Cindy Rose, on the left, is shown receiving a check from American Legion Post #140 Commander Norm Fullerton and Legion representative Glenna Dispennette. Darke County Special Olympics is funded totally by donations from our community.
