2015 Students of
Integrity Winners
BBB’s Center For Business & Consumer Ethics Announces
DAYTON, OHIO, April 16, 2015 – Your Better Business Bureau’s Center for
Business and Consumer Ethics, Inc. (CBCE) announces the winners of its
Students of Integrity, sponsored by Dayton Dental Collaborative and
Reynolds and Reynolds. This is the thirteenth year your BBB has
recognized Miami Valley high school seniors who exemplify strong ethics
and integrity. The award includes a $1,000 college scholarship. The
Students of Integrity will be honored Tuesday, May 12 at your Better
Business Bureau’s Eclipse Integrity Awards hosted at the David H.
Ponitz Sinclair Center.
Among the four recipients is, Erika Jeffers from Greenville Senior High
School. She is ranked third in her class; Erika has served as
vice president of the Key Club and president for both Student Council
and Students against Dangerous Decisions. She is a proud member of the
National Honor Society and Spanish Club. When not at school, Erika
enjoys being a part of 4-H where she has volunteered to help needy
children and served at local food banks. After high school, Erika plans
on attending Miami University where she will major in pre-medical
studies.
A panel of independent judges selected these five students from the 64
applications. All high schools in your BBB’s service area received
invitations to nominate two outstanding students from their senior
classes.
Your Better Business Bureau believes identifying and honoring young
people for strong integrity and character is vital to its mission of
promoting ethics in the marketplace. Like the Eclipse Integrity Awards,
the Students of Integrity highlight outstanding ethics. In bringing
young adults to the forefront, your BBB is closing the loop on what it
takes to be a successful and contributing community leader whether
business, nonprofit or individual.
John North, BBB president and CEO, says, “The resumes these Students of
Integrity have are impressive. They are doing great things in our
community and their futures look just as promising as they make our
world a better place. It is an honor for your Better Business Bureau to
be honoring them. We look forward to watching them continuing to soar
to new heights in all their works in the future.”
