Pets of the week
GREENVILLE - The Darke County Animal Shelter has many pets available
for adoption, including several breeds of dogs, as well as cats and
kittens. The Shelter chooses pets to feature each week, this week
they've selected:
Federal is a 1 year old Boxer. He is tan, white and black with short
hair. He is a friendly guy once you get to know him. He was found north
of Greenville. He is current on his shots and will make a great
companion and friend. He is looking for a good home and waiting to be
adopted.
Henry is a 1-2 year old Australian Cattle dog mix (Red heeler). He is
red and white with short hair. He is a little sweetheart and full of
energy. He is current on his shots and would like to go to an active
family. He will make a great hiking buddy and companion. He is looking
for a good home and waiting to be adopted.
They also have a terrier, a beagle a couple of Australian Cattle dogs,
a Rottweiler mix and numerous other dogs as well as cats and kittens
for adoption.
The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon
on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in
Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645.
2016 dog license are now available.
