Pets of the week
GREENVILLE - The Darke County Animal Shelter has many pets available
for adoption, including several breeds of dogs, as well as cats and
kittens. The Shelter chooses pets to feature each week, this week
they've selected:
Wishbone is a 3 year old Jack Russell. He is white and brown with long
hair. He is a sweet little guy and knows some commands. He is current
on his shots and will make a super friend. He is looking for a good
home and waiting to be adopted.
Julie is a 5 year old Chocolate Lab. She is brown with short hair. She
is a sweet girl and is a people dog. She loves to be with you all the
time. She isn’t found of being in a crate. She knows some commands and
is easily trainable. She is current on her shots and is housebroken.
She needs a home where she can receive a lot of companionship.
Max is a 4 year old Chocolate Lab. He is brown with short hair. He is a
big guy and very friendly. He loves attention and is a typical Lab. He
love to be with you and should be out of the puppy stage. He knows some
commands and is easily trainable. He is current on his shots. He is
looking for a great family to become part of.
They also have a terrier, an Australian Cattle pup, a Rottweiler
mix and numerous other dogs as well as cats and kittens for
adoption.
The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon
on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in
Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645.
2016 dog license are now available.

DOGS OVER 3 MONTHS OF AGE MUST HAVE A LICENSE. For more information you
